Consultation on the Counter-Terrorism Bill
Parliament will in due course vote on the Counter Terrorism Bill. Compass is
carrying out an urgent consultation in order to contribute to the debate.
The results of this survey will be sent to the Home Secretary, MPs, national media and
published on the Compass website.

To both inform and compliment this consultation both the Home Secretary Rt Hon
Jacqui Smith MP and Shami Chakrabarti, Director of human rights pressure
group Liberty, have kindly engaged in this process by providing articles for and

debate.
