LEON Cook (Mail, July 18) seems to think that MPs are already on holiday till October.
I am writing this at my desk in Westminster having this morning participated in Health Questions and am now preparing for a meeting with the Health Minister about developments in GPs' services in South Birmingham.
Three other MPs - Richard Burden, Steve McCabe and Gisela Stuart - are also attending.
I do intend to have two weeks' holiday in Wales and a long bank holiday weekend.
In September, I will be participating in a parliamentary delegation to Kyrgistan.
Apart from that I will be working full time but I do admit to be relaxing a little by just working a "normal" 40 hour week rather than the 70+ hours I usually do - but then, I'm not standing for reelection, so can afford to give myself an easy time.
